Arkansas Barbershop Network for Youth Criminal Prevention
L&J Empowerment Inc aims to prevent youth involvement in the criminal justice system through mentorship and support. The barbershops will serve as a hub for outreach and engagement with young people, providing a safe and welcoming space for them to receive mentorship and support.
Breaking the Cycle of Poverty and Incarceration
L&J Empowerment Inc is starting a 18- month pilot program for youth deflection in Little Rock and pine bluff regions of Arkansas. Working together with community based organizations and youth serving agencies our Arkansas Barber Coalition will spearhead the development of an innovative network that plans to scale national after the pilot is complete.
